For the past few weeks, we've been saying that class 3A is a mess from an indoor perspective, and this week is no different. As we approach the outdoor season, the Huskies of Oak Park will end indoors in the top spot.
State leader Kaden Garland won the shot put, Kwabena Osei-Yeboahlooked impressive in thehorizontal jumps, and Caleb Schulz ILdid well in the sprints. Plainfield South was idle but moved up on the strength of many other 3A performances being canceled. Grayslake Central and Trey Sato moved up due to some good Top Time performances. Kenwood didn't have the strongest meet but remains in the top five. Not having any clear favorites at the present time makes this race an intriguing one. Outdoor of course adds new events, we'll see what happens.
