Annika Swan rolls in her most recent exploits at the Batavia Distance Madness

Notes: One of the top distance runners in the state, Annika Swan (So., Chicago St. Ignatius), is slated to compete in the 800m, 1600m, and 4x400m relay.
Swan is the conference leader in the 3200 (10:43.68), 1600 (4:57.44), and 800 (2:16.38). On the surface, it appears as though Swan may be playing to win and/or in a position to assist her team's title hopes by scoring points.
Swan appears to be challenged by Gabi Walker (Sr., Depaul Prep), one of the state's top middle-distance runners. She ran the 600 in 1:38.00 several weeks ago. That translates to being fast over 800. She has a 2:14.06 on her resume.
In the 1600, Jane Lynch (Jr., Loyola Academy) could provide some quality competition and fun for the fans.
