Last Year's Coverage
Outlook: Last year was tough, with just winner Tatum David (Olney Richland County) advancing to nationals. It could be more of the same unless the small contingent step up. For the girls look for Mia Kotler (Chicago Latin), Liv Phillips (Naperville Central), and Julie Piot (Naperville North) with a chance of making the team. On the boys side, Dylon Maloney (Plainfield South) and Ben Crane of New Trier pose the best opportunities of advancing to San Diego.
