In the season's first big invitational weekend, all eyes were set along Highway 29 and the Illinois River, which led to historic Detweiller Park. On a near-perfect weather day, runners from all over the state dropped their marks to a gratifying feeling. In addition, there are some stories of teams rising to new levels throughout a prosperous day.
