The first full-scale competition pitted a large percentage of athletes into various competitions around the state. The degree to which some competitors race could be debated. By and large, it appeared as though things were status quo.

For this edition, we provided a favor to those individuals who competed and won a respectable race. However, we made a special case for the preseason #1 Ethan Hogan to stay on the list despite not competing during the first two weeks of the season. He indicated that several college visits and personal matters had to be handled. He was placed at #25.
