The 2022 season was on its way to being a great one until the state championship was a total mud fest. To put things in perspective, only six runners broke 15:00. Typically Class 3A boys produce about 35+ sub 15:00 finishers on average. There are 45 runners returners collectively from all three classes. This means if the weather cooperates we could have a sub 14:00 clocking.
For the first time in quite a while, we have all three classification champions back to defend their titles. Gavin Genisio (1A), Dylon Nalley (2A), and Aden Bandwukala (3A) will be better and faster this fall.
Preseason presentation: This list was formulated based on stats at our discretion. We look at cross country and track & field seasons in determining who makes our list. We also take in eyewitness accounts to determine our prestigious list.
