2023 MileSplit IL Team Power Rankings-Week 3


3A Boys 

1. Naperville (Neuqua Valley)- Senior Austin Belle tested the New Balance waters and came home with a PR. The Wildcats enter conference season atop the rankings.  

2. Plainfield South- All-Americans in the 4xMile at New Balance Indoor Nationals. The Cougars enter SPC season.  

3. Hinsdale Central -The Red Devils are 4x800m national leaders and champions. Dan Watcke ran an all-time best 800m indoors.

4.  Elmhurst (York)- Perhaps the final indoor test for the Dukes is on the horizon at the WSC meet. 

5. BataviaQuintin Lowe won the Batavia Distance Madness 1600m, the Bulldogs showing some flashes. 

6.  Chicago (Kenwood) -CPS showdown this weekend in Chicago. 

7. Grayslake Central The Rams in the rankings, yet very quiet it feels. 

8.  Edwardsville- The Tigers 4x200m and Darren Wilson (60m) rose to the occasion. Pair those with the field eventers.

9. Homewood-Flossmoor-  Possibly the final indoor meet of the season, time to show Viking power?

10. Normal CommunityAlex Sohn (Sr) leads the state in the Shot Put, one of the nation's best.
