The very competitive scene during the 3A state championship last month in Peoria

The prairie state performed well in the three-mile and 5000-meter distances by the raw numbers. The 2A state champion Dylon produced the best overall combined time of 29:12- 16 seconds faster than Camyn Viger.

Nalley was clearly the best runner over the official state three-mile distance, besting every challenger with his impressive 14:03. However, he was not the best at 5K. Dan Watcke produced the best mark at the Nike Twilight Invitational in October.
