Daniel Watcke (Sr., Hinsdale Central) opened his invitational season with a convincing win at home in the Hinsdale Hornet-Devil Invitational with a time of 14:56.
Dylon Nalley (Jr., Marion) took second at the Granite City Invite with a sizzling time of 14:38. His time was just four seconds shy of Rockridge, MO ace Ian Kemey; Nalley established the fastest time in the state.
Camyn Viger (Jr., Plainfield South) breaks 15:00 with a 14:58 at the Plainfield City Championship.
Brenden Heitzig (Sr., Lincoln) stormed to a huge 36-second win at the Rochester Invitational in 14:59.
Isaac Teel (Jr., Pinckneyville) stays undefeated after an early statement win vs. friendly rival Gavin Genisio at the Murphysboro Invitational. Teel roared to the easy win 15:17-15:44.
