Shamier Little takes hot button questions from the press after her first round race in the 400H
Eugene, Oregon-
Chicago's very own Shamier Little has been to the World Championship mountain before in case some of you forgot. In 2015, Little came fresh off of winning the NCAA Division 1 400H title for Texas A&M University, and straight into Beijing, China. It was there that she garnered a silver medal with a time of 53.94.
In Little's latest quest for a world championship title, the task of gaining a gold medal could be out of the question with the world record holder Sydney McLaughlin virtually unbeatable. Still, the race is won on the track and not on paper. She advanced to Friday's final with a second place finish in her semi-final race, rolling a season best 53.61.
