There have been some epic 800m Chicago Public League finals over the past 10 years: 2014 and 2015 often come to mind. So it should not come as a surprise to see another fine string of middle-distance runners take to the track and lay down fire performances. Jack Klein (Sr., Lane Tech) and Landan Gillespie (Jr., Kenwood) took the race out in an effort to separate themselves from a talented field and test the limits of one another. What followed during the next the entire exchange was of legendary proportions.
