Very windy conditions rocked most of the Midwest and certainly Downers Grove North HS was no exception for the annual Bruce Ritter Girls Invitational. Despite nasty and at times, frustrating conditions, there were some notable performances to note.
Daria Tersina (Sr., Prospect) wins three individual performances: TJ- 38'11.75" (IL#2), 100- 12.88, 200- 26.08
The highly-rated Prospect distance unit did not put their "A" lineup in the 4x800 relay. However, two of their ace runners Audrey Ginsberg (Sr) and Lily Ginsberg (So) did put on a show by going 1-2 in the 800m. Their times of 2:18.92 and 2:19.23 are now the sixth and seventh fastest times in the state.
Brooke Berger (Jr., York) wins the 3200m easily in 10:58.20- IL#6. She is the only finisher under 11:00.
Prospect closes out the meet with a showstopping 4x4 win in 4:07.70- IL#2
