Future Star: Aden Bandukwala is earning his way to stardom

Hinsdale Central appears to have another star in the making for 2022 and beyond

===========

Hinsdale Central has been a successful distance program for a long time and in this current era, the name that immediately comes to mind is Daniel Watcke, and rightfully so. Watcke elevated the program to new heights over the past year with some big support. One of the major contributors has been Aden Bandukwala. He quietly emerged on the scene last year as a freshman, helping his mates win a 4x400 state title.

Individually, Bandukwala has steadily built this resume to bigger heights like placing 29th in the IHSA 3A Cross Country State Championship with a time of 15:00 (3miles). His effort as the second runner enabled the Red Devils to finish in the runner-up position.

Right on cue thus far in 2022, Bandukwala is a key member of the state's top indoor 4x800 relay (7:53.30) and recently won WSC Silver 800m crown in 1:59.15.

So it appears as though Bandukwala is here to stay and will continue to get better and add on an already dangerously good program.
