Barrington Girls Wins The Lake County Invite

It was a quick night under the lights at Antioch High School

Here are the key highlights: 

*Star thrower Julia Reglewski of Grayslake Central swept her events: 44-10 to win shot put and 146-4 in the discus.

*Grayslake Central won the 4x800m in IL#2 9:36.64 and the 4x400m in 4:09.47, both anchored by freshman Bella Domier.

*In the 4x100m, Barrington slid under the 50-second barrier to win in 49.89; Lake Zurich was 2nd in 50.20.

*Brooke Stromsland of Lakes battled the heat in the 3200m, clocking 11:02.71. Stromsland completed the long-distance sweep in 5:04.67

*Mia Morello (Grayslake Central) won the 100m hurdles in 15.69 and the pole vault in a school-record 12-10.

*Domier overtook Aly Negovetich (Grant) and Jordyn Miller (Mundelein) in the 800m, running 2:13.79; Negovetich 2:15.19 PB; Miller 2:16.78

*Kathleen Baker (Barrington) stop the 400m field in 58.47 PB

Aja Myers (Zion-Benton) was victorious in the 100m in 12.86 and the 200m in 26.23.
