-A bit on the shy side when you actually talk with her, but Ulrich is as competitive as any girl within the confines of her events. She is a beast! During the fall, she said she connected on a 168-foot effect in the discus throw at her practice facility. If she can put this in play for the official season, it will be a no-brainer that we are going to witness history.
The shot put is the main event for the nation's top returner. Nothing less than 50-feet will suffice Ms. Ulrich who is headed to Indiana University this fall. She threw a top 5 national mark of 47-0.5 indoors.
