At the Whitney Young Invitational on Sept. 19, she ran the nation's second-fastest time for three miles. This was the fastest time run in the Chicago city limits and won by almost a minute in 16:43.80. The Chicago Latin (IL) runner earned 526 tallies, which was 58.31-percent of the votes.

Abbey Nechanicky, Wayzata (MN): In another close matchup between Wayzata, Minnetonka, Edina, and Saint Michael-Albertville, Nechanicky won the Lake Conference meet over the weekend. The sophomore crossed the finish line in 17:25.70 and led the Trojans to a second place finish behind Minnetonka. Her performance earned a 146 speed rating. 57.76% (7,922 votes) Allie Love, Colleyville Heritage (TX): The freshman won the Timber Creek Falcon Fast Invite in Fort Worth, TX in 18:03.28. She won the meet by 33 seconds. She remains undefeated after winning races from 3200m to 5K this cross country season. 39.81% (5,461 votes) Carmen Alder, Pinecrest (NC): Alder opened her season with a personal best of 16:58.90 at the Carolina Liberty Freedom Invitational. The BYU commit is one of six girls to break 17 minutes for 5K so far this season. 1.14% (156 votes) Mia Prok, Niwot (CO): Prok is getting stronger and faster while being one of the top freshman in the country so far this season. She shaved 1:37 for 5K since early September and remained undefeated for this distance through the weekend. Prok set a personal best of 17:38 at the Beet Juice Invite. 0.87% (120 votes) Carlee Hansen, Woods Cross (UT): UNC commit won another 5K this season at the TwiKnight Invite. After a shoulder-to-shoulder battle between her and Lone Peak's Eliza Arrington, Hansen won by .64 of a second. She crossed the finish line in 17:47.58. 0.21% (29 votes) Naomi Bailey, West Valley (AK): Bailey won the Region VI Championships in 17:48.60. The senior set another personal best this season at this championship by 18 seconds. She continued to dominate in the state of Alaska as no one has been able to beat her on the course. 0.2% (28 votes) Total Votes: 13,716
