
Every runner who can toe the line and race weekend and weekend out is special. However, there is a time and place where it's important to recognize and establish the very best of the flock. Although we did not have our usual track and field season to assist in determining some of the top returning elite competitors, we had to spend an extra amount of time in the lab. So give us credit on this preseason-opening list!

-Surprised everyone but himself in last year's 1A state championship. Rogers stormed under the radar of Josh Methner's all-time record performance. But keen observers noted that Rogers produced the fastest time as a sophomore and returns as the hitman. Rogers also set himself up with a sweet summer 1600m in 4:15.73.
