It was a two-girls show in last year's must-see race between the state's top two hurdlers, Kaylah McCall and Kayla Walters. Coming into the battle, McCall had the upper hand on Walters which included the 2018 state championship title in her possession. However, a better start for Walters provided a thrilling victory in a then state-leading mark.
