Breakdown: Only three returning finalist return form last years podium, all three has something to prove. It would have been four but the runner-up Arryona Simmons transferred from Thornwood to the state of Minnesota.

Tori Spagnola wants to bring more gold to the family reunion, she will have a legit shot in this hurdle race also to make that happen. With a career-best 44.60, it is a matter of time before that marks drops even further.

Katie Sciarini will do her best to make sure that won't happen. Sciarini placed sixth at state but has the top classification time and third overall in the state. She showed massive improvement in one year and hope the trend continues.

Trinity Allen could the unknown factor here, the future ISU Redbird has been putting in work this preseason and will look to improve upon her seventh-place state finish.

Ayah Mustafa earned USATF All-American honors in the 400H this past summer, how will that translate to the shorter race, she could position herself to gain big points for her team also. A lot could happen in this event between the eight hurdles, if one steps are off it could be costly. Indoors won't tell us too much about how things may fare in this event, we will have to wait a little longer to see how things shake out here.
