Outlook: This could be a record-breaking year for the classification as Morrison returns all four members from their 3:24.07 school record. Star speedster senior Keegan Anderson was not a part of the state series. Anderson competed in the 4x800 and dropped a personal best 48.73 in the prelims. As you can see the possibilities are plentiful.
It won't be easy for the Mustangs as Pleasant Plains and Maroa-Forsyth could have some very good squads. Pleasant Plains returns three members of their 5th place 4x400m last May with all three members at least splitting a 52.0 that day. The question for the Cardinals is, who will be their 4th runner?
Maroa-Forsyth also returns three legs with two of them splitting 50.0 last year. With a 55.15 runner being inserted into their lineup, the Trojans could be a very sneaky team.
