Outlook: This is one the deepest events on the docket with eight all-state performers back. The reigning state runner-up Dakota Krone is ready to take things to another level after nearly eclipsing the 38-foot barrier. These days classification athletes are jumping 39-feet or better so that will be the goal for Krone.
Caroline Lendy returns after a fourth-place finisher in the state meet and pushing past the 37-foot mark. Just behind her was the indoor leader Jaden Christian. Those two will be key figures this season, hoping to add drama and excitement to an event that fans seem to like.
