Pierre's thoughts: The defending champs apparently are ready to show the rest that they are still pumping oxygen on the track and in the field. Quality performances that are better than the rest vaults them to the top with an opportunity to stay there as they will compete against a monster field this weekend (Winston Brown Invitational). The chase pack should have no fear, there is plenty of time to continue the chess game, moving their pieces in to place with hopes of taking down the king of the current game.
