Summer Running Series: In The Lab With Logan Hall

Logan's state 1600m prelim aftermath

Week 3-
July 10th- 16th

Monday, July 10th-
"Long Run" of 8 miles this morning in town. As I mentioned before I come from a really small town, so it is not unusual to hear random shouts of "Keep it up" or "Good job Logan" from people I have never seen in my life. Occasionally I'll get honked at from behind and that really gets ya going on a run as well. Relaxed 6:20 pace with core after.

Tuesday, July 11th-
The team met this morning instead of the evening due to the county fair being in town. Ran an easy 6 miles today at 6:40 pace. Core after. Went to watch the pageant with some friends in the evening.

Wednesday, July 12th-
I hit another 6 miler this morning at 6:20 pace. The hardest step is the first one out the door, but having a run done before most high school kids are even out of bed feels refreshing and opens up time for you to do other things during the day. Swimming in the afternoon and core in the evening.

Thursday, July 13th-
The team met at the track again this morning. I had to run 6 and they had to run 4 so I did 2 miles on the track before they started. As I was 2 miles in, the other guys started their run. I ran my last 4 miles with my brother who is going to be a Freshman and decided to try out cross. 6:40 pace and core after.

Friday, July 14th-
Ran an easy 5 miles at the park today. 6:40 pace. Core afterwards.

Saturday, July 15th-
6 miles on the streets today. Runs have been pretty chill lately. Nothing too interesting happening. 6:20 pace and core later on.

Sunday, July 16th- 3 easy miles at 6:45 pace around my neighborhood block.

40 miles this week. This week went well. Got in a good mix of medium runs and easy runs. Increased mileage by 10 miles this week and another increase of 5 miles next week.
