The school winter holiday break was an opportunity for many to relax, unwind, and perhaps recharge. For 41 athletes it was an opportunity show off some talent, learn something about scientific analysis of pure speed, and have a little competitive fun with peers. Plainfield North boys head track and field coach Tony Holler along with Montini Coach Chris Korfist played host to a "speed showcase" inside the cozy confines of the Plainfield North field house. This year's attendance morphed last year nearly double in size which featured five girls compared to none in 2015. The components of the showcase featured a team dynamic warm up, testing performances, analysis of work, and comraderie.
