Outlook: Whenever an entire camp is looking ahead to another meet two weeks out it is bad news for those entered in this championship field. The big fish to fry for the Griffins will be the New Balance Indoor Nationals over the weekend in New York. In the meantime, the competition here will be considered a snack or appetizer to keep the hunger pains at bay. But don't get things twisted, this program is in serious business mode after producing a big state leading time Thursday night. Lincoln-Way East is turning themselves into an all-time best list against themselves. Fans can pick what ever year they want to compare by looking DGS annals. Their second unit ran 1:48 in the same race at NCC. Both full units are entered again. LWE already possess the US#1 flat track time heading to the Big Apple. Secondary teams that have a chance for second against LWE "B" include Whitney Young with emerging sophomore star Amira Young leading the state in the 55m. Bolingbrook has the state's 8th best time and West Aurora will produce something fast as they always do.
