Emma Wilson (Jr., Greencastle HS; Greencastle IN)- Last year at this time Wilson was just emerging into the runner that she would become. Tearing from a 17:59 best in 2016 and later 18:00 that netted 18th place at NXN MW. Over the spring of 2017 Wilson earned two state titles on the track which lended tremendous confidence for cross country. Wilson won every race enroute to her first harrier title. In qualifying for a spot on the Nike Nationals team for the first time, Wilson quickly latched on to Katelynne Hart and gave her a battle for 4k until settling for second. There is no reason to believe Wilson cannot compete for an all-american placement on Saturday.
