41st ANNUAL GIRLS' R|B BULLDOG RELAYS -- Saturday, April 9, 2022

Dear Coach:
Enclosed you will find entry information for the 2022 R|B Bulldog Relays.
Illinois prep top timing will be sending information for meet entries.
The only changes that will be allowed at the meet will be in case of an injury or illness that will drop an athlete from the competition. This change must be accompanied by a written statement from the Athletic Director. This is for individual events only, relay members can change.

You may enter an athlete in any four (4) events.

All warm-ups for the field events must be completed by 10:00 a.m.
There will be no prelims for running events.
We will start promptly and try to stay on the time schedule as close as possible. Please instruct your athletes to be ready to go on time. We will not wait for any athlete who does not report on time.

The FINALS for all events will start at 11:00 am.

This year we will award medals to the top five places. (Each member of the first five relay teams will also receive medals). Team trophies will be awarded to first and second place teams.

We are requesting that you submit one adult worker and his/her job preference for the girls division. Please email your event preference to robinsi@rbhs208.net.

We believe that this will be an exciting meet. We hope that you will encourage parents and students to attend.

P.S. Please keep your athletes who are not participating or warming up off the track and up in the stands. Your team should set up camp in the stands and not on the track or on the football field. You can use the visitor stands for camp or set up tents on any grassy area outside of the football field.

TO: TRACK COACH

1. Please dress at home.

2. Washrooms will be located on the south end of the main stadium stands.

3. The meet will be run on a six lane, 400 meter track. Please inform all athletes to use " pyramid spikes or smaller (NO Needles) in all track and field events except the shot put and discus.

4. All warm-ups for the field events must be completed by 10:00 am. We will start promptly at 10:00 am, so instruct you athletes to be ready.

5. Do not warm up on the inside lanes of the track.

6. Please instruct your athletes to be ready for the events in the proper lanes, etc. so that we may run this meet without any delay. We will not wait for any athlete who does not report on time. He or she will be scratched from the competition.

7. There will be a concession stand available for spectators, coaches and athletes.

8. All entries must be completed online by Wednesday, April 6th, 2022 by 3:00pm using the

information on the next page. The only changes that will be allowed at the meet will be scratches, unless you supply us with a written statement by your Athletic Director stating that aninjury or illness has occurred.

9. Please check your entries to make sure that an athlete is not entered in too many events. An athlete may compete in any four events.

10. We instruct all managers, athletes and coaches to stay away from the finish line.

11. Instruct all athletes to stay off the middle of the football field and to set up team camp areas. *
12. We are still going to use the NO FALSE START rule this year throughout the meet. Any false start by ANY RUNNER will automatically eliminate that runner from the competition.

13. All IHSA Track & Field rules and regulations will apply. Coaches, it would help us and yourself, to make sure that each athlete is properly dressed and that no jewelry is being worn. If you have any specific questions, please ask at the coaches meeting prior to the meet or feel free to give me a call.
