COVID-19 Protocols

Meet Waivers Required Upon Arrival

-Temperature checks in the lobby upon arrival. Temperatures above 100.4 will be denied entry to the facility after a 10min re check.

-Masks must be worn at all times, except while actively warming-up/competing. Upon event completion masks are required to be put back on.

-If you are feeling sick or feeling sick please stay home.

-Everyone must socially distance at least six feet while inside the facility.

-Hand sanitizers are available throughout the facility.

-Field event athletes will be required to wear masks in between attempts (while not actively competing). Masks should go in the pocket or around their wrist during the event.

-Starting blocks will be provided by meet management, they will be sanitized after each heat. No outside starting blocks will be allowed.

-Absolutely no spitting, nose blowing or other similar action will be permitted in any capacity including in or around garbage cans within the facility.

-Athletes should bring their own throwing implements, athletes must retrieve their implement after each attempt.

Venue Entrance Procedure

Athletes should report to Gately Indoor Track 45mins prior to the scheduled start time of their event. All athletes should enter Gately Indoor Stadium thru the South entrance, there will be signage or staff directing you. Temperature checks will occur upon entry.

Packet Pickup

Packet and race bib pickup will be inside the south entrance, athletes must turn in their waivers prior to receiving their race bib. Please do not lose your bib as it is your ticket into the facility for both days for competition only. After packet pickup athletes will proceed to the locker room, arena, or directed to one of three club roomson the second level.

Locker Rooms

There will be limited locker room access, it is encouraged that athletes bring items necessary for the meet. Athletes will be able to change out of any winter gear (coats, boots) after receiving their bib number. Please bring a lock if you choose to store items in lockers. Any updates will be communicated at a later date via email.

Warm Up

Athletes competing in the first event of the day, place belongings against the west bleachers, get spikes checked ( OR inch pyramid spikes only), then proceed to warm up on the warm up track, middle sprint lanes, or back stretch of the oval. Jumpers and throwers may warm up at their venue. No tape or chalk allowed for jumps, markers will be provided. Social distancing guidelines must be followed while warming up.

Implement weigh in for throws will occur at the competition site, bring your own implements. There will be staff directing you and providing updates about entry into the arena for practice. Only water is allowed on the arena floor, please bring your own water as fountains are shut down due to COVID policy.

Race Check In

Athletes should report COMPETITION READY at or near the start line for clerking no later than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. Field event athletes should check in with the head official of that event. Social distancing guidelines must be followed while awaiting placement in lanes.

Post Race

Upon completion of your event marshals will guide you off the track so you may grab your belongings and proceed out the northeast exit via the warm up track into the hallway. Athletes who qualify for finals (60, 60H, 200m) should report back to check in at the southwest entrance of the facility 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of finals. Any updates will be communicated at a later date via email and on-site.

Venue Exit Procedure

Athletes who have completed their event should plan to immediately exit the facility after getting dressed via the South entrance in the lobby. At the current time, athletes will not be able to stick around and watch events due to COVID policy. Any updates will be communicated at a later date via email.
