27th Annual Elmwood Park Cross Country Tiger Invite
Date: Saturday, October 8th, 2016
Site: Elmwood Park High School 8201 W. Fullerton Ave. Elmwood Park, IL 60707
Course: 3.0 miles: 3x1 mile loops (Flat on Crushed Limestone and Grass)
Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, Open Girls, Open Boys, 1 Mile Open
Teams: Bremen, Christ the King, Elmwood Park, Fenton, Guerin, IC Catholic Prep, Leyden, Montini, Morton, Nazareth Academy, Prosser, Regina Dominican (Girls), Ridgewood, Round Lake, Trinity (Girls), Walther Christian
Races:
9:00am VARSITY GIRLS (10 girls) 3 team plaques 10 medals/20 ribbons
9:40am VARSITY BOYS (10 boys) 3 team plaques 10 medals/20 ribbons
10:20am Open GIRLS (75 girls) 2 team plaques 10 medals/20 ribbons
11:00am Open BOYS (75 boys) 2 team plaques 10 medals/20 ribbons
11:45am OPEN RACE (all ages: coaches, managers, family and friends of running!) 25 ribbons
The course will open at 8:00am. Coaches should pick up their packets from the concession stand when they arrive. Extra course maps will be included. The deadline for making entries is Thursday, October 6th, at 6:30pm. Running chips are specifically assigned to individual runners and any errors/changes must be made with the timing company upon arrival at the meet on Saturday. Following races, it is the responsibility of the head coach from each school to collect the running chips from their runners. Upon the conclusion of each race, all chips must be returned. The awards ceremony will not begin until all running chips have been returned. Any unreturned running chips will result in a $10 replacement fee assessed to the runners school. No dogs are allowed on campus, per district policy.
A concession stand will be open with a variety of items to eat and drink. There are bathrooms at the east and west concession stands as well as inside the school.
The awards ceremony will be immediately following the open race in the Gym at approximately 12:15pm.
