The Ritter Invite traditionally ushers in some of the fastest early season times in the state

One of the state's top girls invitationals will kick off just past 4p at Downers Grove North High School. For the first time in some years, the weather is expected to be great with the mercury reaching close to 80 degrees at game time, with light winds and plenty of sunshine to boost performances far and wide.
*The 4x800 relay could be interesting depending on who is loading up. It does not appear that the indoor record holders Prospect will be loading up their dangerous squad. Lyons, DGN, and Glenbard West will be in contention with the Knights.
*Peep the 3200: York teammates Bria Bennis and Katherine Klimek will go at it for the first time outdoors and will challenge the meet record. Hailey Erickson (Sr., Prospect) and a fleet of quality runners will be on the scene.
*The 1600 includes Meg Peterson (Fr., Prospect), Catherine Sommerfeld (Sr., Lyons), and Lily Eddington (Fr., Downers North) as the featured athletes.
*Prospect could win all four relays with a balanced attack.
