Dominique Johnson came on the scene in a big way as a freshman in 2022

This is a new year with new expectations, especially with some uncertainty from notable exits via graduation as it pertains to the indoor season and the Illinois Top Times meet (unofficial indoor state meet). 

The shot put has only one returner over 40 feet, leaving Maeve Kelly as the one to beat this winter.

The high jump could be the best event during the undercover season with seven girls eclipsing the outdoor standard mark. Multi-specialists Rylee Lydon and Annie Wirth are elite national talent capable of going over 5-9 this season. We could possibly see Brianna Dixon join them in that exclusive club.

How about the jumps? The sisters Alex and Dominique Johnson are rated #1 and #2 combined. Alex is the state's top returner in the long jump and Dominique is top-rated in the triple jump, winning the Top Times title. They will be heavy lifters for Huntley all winter long.
