As it usually does in the Prairie State, the senior boys dominate all class ranks with authority. Four of the top ten, ten of the top 20, and 24 of the 50 fastest performers were of the eldest group. For the first time in quite awhile, none of the class winners were seniors. 48 seniors broke the watershed 15:00 mark.
Middle-distance specialist Dan Watcke led the way in 14:34, proving he is more than a half-miler.
By the class numbers:
3A- there were 16 performers of the top 25 performers were seniors.
2A- 12 of the top 25 entrants were in the senior class.
1A- This class played favorably like its brethen with 12 of the first 25 entrants being seniors
