Typically girls have a higher degree of success than boys top end during the first two years of cross country. Despite going through the Covid-19 period, this year's class was very strong.
The competition was very fierce among some of the top girls in the class of 2025. led by Juliet Frum. There were five girls among the top 20 overall which is a solid balance. Back to Frum who produced a very good second year and earned 3A state runner-up status. She also improved from 2021's 17th-place effort.
Prospect has a great program in part because of Veronica Znajda's rise to prominence. The Knight's coaching staff did a wonderful job of grooming her during a portion of the season by allowing Znajda to prosper in underclassmen competition. This is often hard for coaches with talented stallions to not deploy their yearlings in varsity competitions too soon.
