-It was a battle of two of the state's top female runners in the 5K. Tatum David (Sr., Richland County) bested the upstart Molly Farrell (Fr., Marshall) 17:23-17:46. Class A Girls #6 Marshall held off Robinson 46-50

Girls: #9 Minooka repeats as team champions by tallying 35 points to Oswego East's 72; Audra Soderlind (Oswego) wins the race in 17:54

Chicago Public League City Championships: PHOTOS I VIDEOS I RESULTS
-Boys: Lane snaps Jones' five year winning streak scoring 49 points to Mather's 67. The Champions were led by junior Will Kozlowski who placed third with a time of 15:27. The individual winner was junior Sam Berlinghof of Jones who clocked 15:19.
-Girls: Jones won their first team title by defeating Whitney Young and Lane, scoring 48 points to WY 54, Lane 59
