VOTE: MileSplit Illinois Girls performer of week 3

It was a good weekend at the famed Detweiller Park for cross country! See the thread below and VOTE!

=============

Grace Schager (Sr., Glenbard North)- absolutely ran lights out and exceeded any expectation put before her. She was even stunned by the 16:00.2 that she clocked at the Harvey Braus Lake Park Invitational. Schager broke the meet record and course record and put down the fastest ever time for a girl in the month of September!!

Tatum David (Sr., Olney Richland County)- Welcome back to IL Tatum!! In her season opener, she returned back to the park where she last ran on state soil. It was Detweiller Park and she ran a freshmen record 16:00 three years ago. Now, at the First To The Finish Invitational, David ran away from the competition to win easily in 16:51 and establish herself as the one to beat in the 2A classification.

Scout Storms (So., Barrington)- After a freak accident at the IHSA Girls state track and field championship, Storms was on the mend for much of the summer training session. However, she has progressed well enough to return to action. In her season debut, she tested her foot and it was good enough to win the 3A portion of the FTTF Invitational in 17:25.

Grace Erb (Sr., Winnebago)- A mainstay in the championship 'Bagos program, Erb has delivered time and again. She did it once more at the FTTF Invitational leading her team to a second-place finish.  Erb won the 1A race in 17:42.

Tessa Bowers (Fr., Shelbyville)- The junior high star has arrived on the scene. Bowers has won her last two contests including the rugged Shelbyville Trail 5K in 18:03!
