Plainfield Central senior Tessani Foster recently performed at the mecca of indoor track & field in New York

The pole vault is an event surrounded by skill as well as grace when the right combination athlete is involved. It appears as though Foster is fitting the bill in her final stanza as a high school student.
In Foster's most recent performance, she vaulted a personal best 12'9" at the Southwest Prairie Girls Indoor Conference Championship. The mark also vaulted Foster to the top of the state's food chain and the possibility of a 13-foot clearance is around the corner.
Foster collected over 46% of the vote in which 1,464 votes were tallied. The final grid is provided below. Congrats to Tessani!
