Peyton Schieppe is an outstanding distance runner whose journey back to the top was filled with some trials and tribulations. After missing much of the 2021 track and field season due to an injury, the senior from O'Fallon HS returned in the fall and produced an outstanding cross country season capped off with all-state honors.
2022 appears to be going well thus far as Schieppe competed in the CYUP Misfits Invitational and scored two favorable results. In the first race of the day, Schieppe won the section #3 mile in 5:11.42 *8th overall). Several hours later, Schieppe rolled a PB 11:08.14 to secure a win in the two-mile.
