Drew Rogers- The junior from Herscher is building his resume into a superstar one. Before we jump forward to the fall cross country season or even the 2022 season, let's talk about Charleston.
Rogers proved he is the best distance in the state and one of the best in the country all year long. Recently at the Festival of Miles in St. Louis, Rogers ran a US#17 full mile in 4:08.02. The 3200m appears to be in Rogers' hands as well as the sizzling state-leading 3200m (8:57.78).
Don't expect the blistering hot temperatures to give the competitors a break. The goal is to get the win and everything else is gravy.
