Overview: The state's top returning and premier sprinter comes out of his winter hibernation at the right time. Who exactly knows what type of shape that Ellis is in but consider that last February he ran 6.89 in spikeless sneakers. Let's hope that he is good enough to take over the state lead and be the first one under 7.00.
The 300m will be more of a challenge during this period but Ellis has run 50.xx in the 400m so he has endurance. Anything under 36-seconds would indicate that the Louisiana Tech bound is headed in the right direction.
