Overview: The nation's top returning triple jumper is set to enter the building and put on a show for the faithful in her season opener. The University of Michigan-bound Ammenhauser is an outstanding athlete whose volleyball season was deferred to the winter because of COVID-19 cautions. However, she has decided to concentrate on track and field full time.
This may be considered a "rustbuster" for Ammenhauser, but keep in mind that her indoor PR is a robust 41-3.75 from a shortened season last year -- and it was good for US No. 3. Anything in the vicinity of that effort will place her among the current national elite. Ammenhauser has good speed as well, look for her to make the 60m final.
