Overview: Battle enters the weekend as the #1 male athlete to watch here. The Tigers star long sprinter is off to a red hot start after two big performance, one most recently in the 400m at the Youngstown State Open/High School Meet #2 where he clocked an IL#2 all-time Indoor mark of 48.25 and took home the win. Expect the Eastern Illinois University-bound Battle to continue his assault against a solid field of competitors.
Battle will start the weekend in his "secondary" event, the 200m where he logged a state-leading 22.24. The question will be whether or not he can challenge the favorite Jaylin Holmes of Michigan.
