Senior Spotlight: Isaiah Tyler

Very few trackathletes seem to have as much fun as Isaiah Tyler in the track & field realm. The Proviso East graduate usually has a smile on his face whether it's at practice or in a competition. "I just being at the track and having fun competing," Tyler once said. He is someone that a coach can depend on in terms of getting the job done. Tyler specializes in the long jump, high jump, and open sprints. However, he has run the relays and is willing to do just about anything to assist his team.

The high jump appears to be Tyler's bread and butter after he earned all-state and All-American honors in 2019. His personal best 6'7" was sure to rise further had there been a full 2020 campaign. The long jump and 100m was a potentially lethal event as well. 

Tyler will now take his talents to the University of Illinois-Chicago. We wish Isaiah the very best in his future endeavors.
