In 2017, then senior Jaimie Robinson produced one of the most productive seasons for a track and field athlete in recent memory. The previously one-faceted jumper became a multi-talented for her beloved Homewood-Flossmoor Lady Vikings squad. During the indoor season, Robinson placed third at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Championship in the triple jump (41-8.5). Earning first-team All-American honors was just a start to what was to come.
Already the best-combined jumper in state history, Robinson set out to show her improved speed and technique, she would win the state 200m title. All of the greatest was attributed to genes, talent, and an unmatched work ethic as seen above in the Workout Wednesday.
