The "Showstopper" is always the most exciting and high energy race that brings the house down. Monday night at North Central College Rec Center named for the legendary coach Al Carius, it happened again. Plainfield South junior Niko Schultz set the tone with a blistering 50.3 opener that seemed to ignite five of the six starting squads. It was shortly thereafter when the drama began to unfold, Minooka and Chicago Lane Tech battled on the anchor legs. The final results are in the pudding.
Lane Tech splits: Jack Burns (Sr.) 52.9, Juan Manaog (Jr.) 51.8, Jaylin Jones (Jr.) 51.6, Nathan Polizzi (Sr.) 49.2
