Coming into the 2019 track season, the talk was it was going to be a low in terms of state-level prominence much less national acclaim.
There wasn't much to dispute these claims. Though the stagnant cool climes prevented the bulk of runners from perhaps achieving big-time goals,
there were opportunities for those who were able to compete out of state in warmer weather. As well, several distance carnivals were on deck
to provide another platform. Graduation hit the stock pretty hard as it turned out. Look for 2020 to be a year of redemption across the board.
