While just about every top distance runner in the state of Illinois was resting up and preparing to race at the Distance Night in Palatine, the great Katelynne Hart was set to take care of business with her teammates at their annual Sue Pariseau Invitational. The Glenbard West junior superstar wanted to give her home fans a picturesque showing on the track with the Lake Glen Ellyn as a backdrop. Hart had previously competed in the 4x800m before taking flight in the 1600m. The result was a US#1 4:45.33 complete solo effort. That's right a solo effort from the gun.
