Breakdown: Ryan Curington enters the year as the top competitor in the long jump by a respectable amount. The Chicago native enters the year with a 3rd place finish at last year's state meet under his belt. Curington had a good summer as well that ended with a 26th place performance at the AAU Junior Olympics. Watch for Curington to jump in the high 23's this year as he has seemed to consistently improve every year in the long jump. Also, watch for returning all-staters Jamonny Skinner and Logan Rubin as they try and unseat Curington.
