Key returners: Tiera Robinson-Jones (Jr., Evergreen Park), Jayla Campbell (Sr., Olympia Fields Rich Central), Makiah Sherman (Sr., Park Forest (Rich East), Mattie Lieb (Jr., Monticello), Treasure Keyes (Sr., Chicago Lindblom), Lauren Doerr (So., Morton), Samantha Spencer (Jr., New Lenox Providence Catholic), Myah Sherman (Sr., Rich East)
Season Outlook: Tina Martin has moved on the Harvard University. This means things are going to be wide open and although there is not an immediate successor to the vacated throne, there will be some fast times. Tiera Robinson-Jones came on late in the season to finish fourth in the state meet and later enjoyed a great summer. Her 24.34 time was met with delight by onlookers as well as college scholarship prospects. Two others under 25.00 are Jayla Campbell and Makiah Sherman. Mattie Lieb is a name that could trend in the sprints this season.
