2019 Class A Girls Relays Preview

Tremont pulled out a tough victory in less than ideal conditions at the state meet

2018 State Champion: Tremont 9:44.07
Season outlook analysis: Tremont came on strong late in the spring level championship teams are supposed to do. The Turks were one of the first teams to go under 10:00 at sectionals. After cruising to make the final, they put it all together on championship Saturday.  Anchor Bethany Wagenbach brought home the thrilling win for her team. It should be another banner year for the Turks who return three legs. State runner Teutopolis and of course St. Joe-Ogden will be in the mix as they have the personnel for a sustained run. Springfield Lutheran will have to replace the graduated Maddy Eck, but they have three returners in which to proceed with. After the aforementioned teams, it will be anyone's guess who wants to take the reigns in this class.
