Kenosha WI-
It was hard to believe that it was Wisconsin was arguably the warmest regional in the country for cross country on Saturday. The unseasonably warm temperatures reached into the upper 40s by the time the seeded races rolled around.
The girls' race did not see many surprises as virtually all got in. Several notable exceptions were Emma Wilson of Indiana who placed a distant 21st. Freshman Riley Stewart of Colorado got the nod with a strong 9th place finish.

The boys' race was thrilling in the fact that horrid course conditions dominated the outlook. It was evident that we all were going to witness a historic low after the first mile was reached in 5:09. Even with the second mile being virtually downhill, it did not change the fact times was molasses. It may be the first time in regional history at UW-Parkside that no one broke 10:00 through two miles. The final verdict was 16:03- the first time that a winner has not broken 16:00.
